Dr. Kymber Blaschke is licensed as a Therapeutic Glaucoma Specialist. Originally from the small town of Yorktown, Texas, she fully enjoyed growing up in a family full of Aggies. This lead to her journey to Texas A&M University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Dr. Blaschke then went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry, graduating with honors from the University of Houston School of Optometry. Her training included externships at the San Antonio VA and multiple clinics throughout the Cherokee Nation in Oklahoma. These clinical experiences aided in furthering her knowledge about the diagnosis and treatment of various ocular diseases.
As a small-town girl with lots of Texas pride, Dr. Blaschke loves treating patients like family. One of her favorite things to do in the exam room is to educate you about your vision and eye health, including the latest technology available to assist you in your needs. She looks forward to providing excellent and thorough eye care for everyone!
In her spare time, Dr. Blaschke enjoys spending time with her family, traveling the world and exploring the food of the world, and playing sports.
Dr. Patrick Clark is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. He grew up in Rio Grande City, a part of the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. After graduating high school with a dual Associate’s degree in Biology, he went on to complete Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio with honors. He then continued his education at the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, earning his Doctor of Optometry and awarded the honor of class valedictorian.
While in optometry school he was fortunate to receive multiple awards and honors. Dr. Clark completed clinical rotations at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston and an Ophthalmology private practice in San Antonio. Immediately following optometry school, Dr. Clark accepted a residency position at the Doris Miller VA Medical Center in Waco, TX, where he completed an ocular disease residency serving our nation’s Veterans. While in residency, he became proficient in the treatment and management of glaucoma, diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy, macular degeneration, and dry eye syndrome.
While not in clinic, Dr. Clark enjoys trying new restaurants and traveling to new places with his wonderful wife and friends. Dr. Clark is also a huge fan of the San Antonio Spurs and America’s Team, the Dallas Cowboys.
Anita is a native of small town Buda, back when it was just a Walmart and a Burger King, therefore understands the true meaning of rural beginnings. Having relocated back to the Buda/Kyle area 6 years ago from Ft Worth, Anita loves being able to raise her daughter in this ever growing community. She adventures out to hike in nearby state parks in her spare time and doesn’t mind a quality slice of cheesecake! Anita truly believes in her calling to be able to service others both in and out of her role as Office Manager at Buda Vision Source.
